The current banner shows Alnwick Castle, in Northumberland - a county in the far north east of England, bordering Scotland. This region is home to a number of Appleby lines - and our DNA project has confirmed genetic connections between several of these, which also match lines in Canada, USA and Ireland.

Now we have a fair number of results, you may be interested to see where the clusters of results are located on a map. If you click on the map below, you will be taken to a Google map where you can zoom in to see just where the Most Distant Known Ancester (MDKA) of each of the lines that have tested to date lived.
